Overview

This guide explains the different actions you can perform on a single position in Agentnoon, including dragging and dropping, editing, closing, deleting, duplicating, and adding direct reports.

Position Interactions

1. Drag and Drop

  • Click and drag an individual position to a new manager or reporting structure.

  • Drag an entire team (a position and its direct reports) to reassign it under a new manager.

  • This interaction updates the org structure dynamically and maintains reporting relationships.

2. Editing a Position

  • Hover over a position and click the Edit button.

  • Modify details such as Job Title, Country, and other attributes.

  • Save changes using the Save button in the sidebar.

3. Closing a Position

  • Click the Minus (-) button to mark a position as:

    • Layoff (Reduction in Force)

    • Exit (Voluntary Departure)

  • Closed positions remain in the org chart and track financial savings.

4. Deleting a Position

  • Permanently removes a position from the scenario.

  • Not recommended unless cleaning up the data.

  • Unlike closing, deletion does not track savings or historical data.

5. Duplicating a Position

  • Click the Duplicate button to create multiple copies.

  • Options include duplicating 1x, 5x, or a custom number of times.

6. Adding a Direct Report

  • Click Add Direct Report to create a new subordinate position.

  • The new position card appears under the parent role for further details.

6. Move Cards Left to Right

  • Click the Arrow keys on the card to move it left or right

By using these interactions, you can effectively modify, restructure, and analyze workforce changes within Agentnoon.
