Overview

This guide explains how to separate an employee from a position, reassign employees, and use shortlisting for succession planning in Agentnoon.

Detaching an Employee from a Position

  • Click Remove Employee to detach a person from a position.

  • The position remains intact, but it is now marked as vacant.

Assigning a New Employee to a Position

  • Click Add to Position on a vacant role.

  • Select a new employee from your dataset.

  • When an employee is assigned:

    • Their employee-level data (e.g., Name, Salary, Gender) is transferred to the position.

    • The position retains its existing structure and attributes.

Shortlisting Multiple Candidates for a Position

  • If a position has multiple potential candidates, you can shortlist them:

    1. Click Shortlist and select multiple candidates.

    2. When ready, assign one candidate from the shortlist.

    3. (For enterprise customers) Define rationale for selection—this can be customized during onboarding.

Displaying the Shortlist on the Org Chart

  • To show all shortlisted candidates for a position:

    1. Go to Card Content.

    2. Navigate to Default Fields.

    3. Select Position Shortlist to display the list.

By using talent selection and shortlisting, you can efficiently manage vacancies, succession planning, and workforce transitions in Agentnoon.
