Overview

Projects in Agentnoon help you split large org datasets into manageable segments, making it easier to focus on specific business areas. If your instance has 50,000+ records, Projects enable better organization, streamlined scenario management, and controlled access.

When to Use Projects?

  1. Focus on Specific Business Areas Instead of filtering through an extensive list of scenarios, use Projects to categorize data into specific parts of the business you are modeling. For example, you can create separate projects for the US business versus global operations or focus on specific departments or business units.

  2. Manage Large-Scale Scenario Planning If you're juggling 20+ scenarios across multiple teams, use Projects to consolidate and manage your scenarios in clearly defined categories. For larger enterprises, this reduces the need for multiple data instances by centralizing access management. Think of Projects as a way to “folderize” your scenarios.

  3. Control Access and Streamline Visibility Projects function as mini instances within your main org. They allow you to set customized entry points, so teams only see the business unit or dataset relevant to them, eliminating unnecessary data filtering.

How to Create Projects

1. Navigate to the Home Page:

Click on Create New Project located at the top right of the home page.

2. Enter Project Details

  • Name your project:

  • Choose data to be included

  • Invite members to your project

3. Project Creation:

Once created, your project will appear on the home page as a separate tile. Within each project, you can have scenarios that use the main project org chart as the baseline (non-editable).

Projects ensure cleaner data management, better scenario organization, and controlled access, making workforce planning more efficient.
