Quick Start Guide
Get productive in your first 30 minutes.
This guide walks you through the core workflows in Agentnoon. By the end, you’ll know how to:
Explore your current organization
Model changes in a scenario
See headcount and cost impact over time
Export insights for stakeholders
1. Log In and Open Your Organization
Go to app.agentnoon.com and log in with your credentials
You'll land on the Homepage with:
Your instance name at the top
A list of Scenarios in the main panel (this may be empty initially)
Quick links to documentation and support
Click Open Org Chart to see your current organization
You are now in Main Org, where you can begin exploring your organizational structure.

2. Explore the Main Organization
In Main Org, positions appear as cards arranged in a hierarchy.
To navigate:
Hover over a card to see quick details.
Click the expand or collapse arrows to show or hide reporting lines.
Scroll and zoom to explore different areas of the org.
Take a few minutes to move around and familiarize yourself with the structure.

3. Search for a Person or Position
Use the search bar to find any person or position:
Start typing a name, job title, or unique ID (i.e., employee ID or position ID) — results appear as you type.
Click a result to navigate directly to that person or position in the org chart.
4. Add Card Content
You can control which fields are visible on each card:
Click the Card Content button in the toolbar.
Select which fields to display (for example, work city, department, salary, etc.).
Check or uncheck fields to add or remove them.
Cards update immediately to reflect your selections.
💡 You can also include calculated (FX) fields, such as Total Span of Control, to surface additional insight directly in the org chart.

5. Create and Save a Custom View
Use Highlight and Filter to focus on specific teams or attributes.
Apply Highlighting:
Click Highlight in the toolbar.
Choose a field (for example, Work Country or Department).
Cards will automatically color-code by value

Apply Filters:
Click Filter in the toolbar.
Select criteria (for example, Department, Location, etc.)
Check preserve manager relationships to maintain reporting context.
Click Apply.

Save Your View:
After applying highlights and filters, click Views in the toolbar.
Select Save Current View
Enter a name (for example, “Engineering Team” or “US Employees").
Your saved view will appear in the Views dropdown for quick access later.


6. Use Spotlight to Find Patterns
Spotlight highlights positions that match selected rules, helping you quickly spot patterns across the organization.
Click Spotlight in the toolbar.
Choose from pre-configured rules:
Average span of control ranges
Specific pay grades
Custom field values
Positions that match will highlight automatically.
Review the list of matching positions to investigate further.
7. Create Your First Scenario
Scenarios let you model changes before implementing them:
Return to the Homepage.
Click + Create Scenario.
Choose a scenario type:
Full Org - Includes everyone in your scope
Partial Org - Select specific departments or teams
New Org - Start from blank canvas

Enter a clear name (for example, “Q2 Hiring Plan”).
Set a budget (optional).
Click Create
You’re now working in an editable version of your organization where you can begin modeling changes.

8. Make Position Changes in a Scenario
Add a position: Hover over a card > click the + button > fill in details
Once inside a scenario, you can begin modeling changes.
Add a position
Hover over a card.
click the + button.
Enter the position details and save.
Edit a position
Click the card.
Modify fields in the side panel and save.
Move a position
Drag and drop a card to a new manager.
Move a team
Select the manager's card.
Click Change Manager.
Choose a new manager to move the entire team.
Close a position
Click the card.
Select Close Position from the menu.
Bulk edit positions
Select three or more positions.
Click Edit.
Modify shared fields and save changes to all.




Move a team: Select a manager's card > click Change Manager > choose new manager > entire team moves

9. View Changes in Forecast
Forecast shows the projected impact of your scenario so you can easily see how changes affect headcount and cost over time.
Click the View switcher and select Forecast.
The timeline shows your scenario’s projected headcount or cost by month. Changes appear based on their effective dates.
Toggle between Headcount and Cost metrics.
Hover over any point on the timeline to see a detailed breakdown.

10. Export a Chart to PowerPoint
Export charts directly from Agentnoon to share your analysis with stakeholders:
Click the View Switcher and select Workforce Hub.
Click on any preconfigured chart tile (for example, Headcount Distribution).
The chart opens with the chart selector dropdown at the top
Configure the chart axes and filters using the gear icon
Click Export.
Choose PowerPoint to export the chart as an editable slide.
