November Highlights
This month, we focused on enhancing the organizational design process with impactful updates, including Forecast V2, bulk detachment of people from positions, and scenario merging, enabling you with greater control and efficiency.
🚀 What's New?
1. Merge Scenarios
You can now combine scenarios by importing people from one scenario into another directly through Data Management.
Notes:
- For better planning, create a blank scenario and import people from multiple others.
- Avoid conflicts by ensuring no overlapping changes for the same individuals.
2. Forecast v2
We’ve supercharged forecasting to give you more control over your workforce data. Now you can- Forecast full compensation for your employees, including components like benefits, taxes and more.
- Forecasting is now available for headcount, where 1 indicates an occupied position and 0 indicates a vacant one, providing a clearer view of future and current workforce availability.
- Forecast both headcount and fully loaded compensation by attributes like people, departments, or customized fields.
3. Bulk Detach People from Positions
You now have the ability to bulk detach employees from positions, simplifying large scale changes. You can now select multiple employees, detach them from their positions, and reassign those positions.
4. Conditional Statements in Formulas
We've introduced support for conditional logic within formulas, allowing for more nuanced data analysis.
Example: Suppose you need to calculate severance for employees marked as "RIF" (Reduction in Force). The formula could be structured as:
ifElse(in("RIF", [scenarioState]), max(min([Service_Years], 25), ifElse([Level] <= 7, 5, ifElse([Level] <= 12, 7, 19))), 0) * ([Full_Compensation] is / 25)
This formula considers service years and employee level to determine the severance amount, ensuring precise calculations based on your specific criteria.

Search and Navigation
Projects:
The homepage now organizes your work into Projects for better clarity and focus.
The main org chart, along with all scenarios, is accessible as a dedicated project.
Search Enhancements:
You can search for employees by their Agentnoon ID in Org chart and List view for faster results. (Agentnoon IDs can be obtained through CSV exports)
Data Management
Settings in the vertical bar has been renamed to “Data Management” from where you can access Attributes & Formulas, Import Data, Sync Data, and Importing people when in scenarios.
Track Data Uploads:
You can now view the last data upload date and get better visibility into updates.
UI Enhancements
Formula Names on nodes:
Custom formula names now appear directly on cards, making visualization and planning more intuitive.
App UI Overhaul
- Navigation Updates
Updated navigation with new navigation bars and project-first homepage design
- Settings and Access Controls
Settings and Access controls have been moved to top right on the home-page
Performance Upgrades:
- Position Export Updates:
You can now download a list of people from position-based scenarios, complete with Agentnoon IDs included in the CSV export. This enhancement ensures better accuracy and functionality for position planning.
- Speed Enhancement
Improved speed for larger boards and faster scenario loading, making modeling quicker
🔧 Bug Fixes
- Scenario Fixes:
Addressed multiple issues to enhance scenario functionality, including resolving crashes in charts splitting effort by role category, improving accessibility for the scenario list view, fixing edits history in projects, and correcting scope editing errors. - CSV Export Fixes:
Improved CSV export functionality by excluding detached individuals, populating Agentnoon IDs for better position planning, and adding a safety check to ensure data integrity. - Hierarchy and Navigation:
Resolved real-time syncing issues in hierarchy updates, fixed missing department listings in the sidebar, and addressed navigation bar issues on Safari for a smoother experience.
