# March 2025

March Highlights

This month, we focused on improving your ability to plan, organize, and collaborate with more flexibility. From placeholder budgets and scenario refresh to streamlined data imports and chart theming, these updates are built to make your planning process smoother and more aligned with your organization’s needs.

## 🚀 What's New?

### PowerPoint Org Chart Exports

Org chart exports are now fully customizable. This gives you cleaner, more tailored slides - especially helpful when presenting large teams.\
You can:

* Select the number of layers to export
* Choose your preferred layout - vertical, horizontal, or compact
* Set how many levels appear per slide
* Select which fields (e.g., just job titles or full card content) to include.\
You can now add placeholder cost adjustments in the Summary view to represent savings targets or budget assumptions not tied to specific roles.

* Click on the Summary view and then edit the **sum of placeholder adjustments**
* Enter the placeholder value for budget adjustment.

### Refresh Scenarios

You can now refresh scenarios by pulling in the latest org data while keeping your in-progress edits - a new version is created with all updates applied. Previously, any structural changes required manual recreation or risked overwriting work.

To refresh your scenarios:

* Open your scenario and go to **Data Management → Refresh Scenario**.
## **✅** Improvements

### 1. Layer-Based Highlighting

You can now highlight your org chart by hierarchical layers, with each level assigned a distinct color. This makes it easier to visualize depth, and understand overly complex structures.

### 2. Card Content Calculated Fields

### 4. Updated Access Control in Scenarios

New logic ensures users only see roles within their defined scope - even when collaborating in shared scenarios. This helps protect sensitive plans while still allowing contributors to build and edit positions as needed.
